of death was 6-12-1862 and he died in Manchester Indiana.

According to Haynes family tree by William Haynes Kelley -
"Born in Canada, Largely reared by mother's relatives named Houghtaling
in Moreau, N.Y. Moved to Indiana in 1828. Married in 1808. One record
gives (his date of death as) 6-12-1862 in Manchester, Ind."

Henry married Abigale Eldridge in 1808. Abigale (daughter of Elisha Eldridge and Mary Wheadon) was born on 10 Mar 1790 in New Haven; died on 19 May 1867. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

Notes:

According to Grace Haynes Roberg Family Record of 20 Feb 1930 his
name was probobly "Bernard Ains". French Canadian records indicate he
was a Tory and went to Canada about the time of the Mohawk Valley
raids. He married in Canada to Elizabeth Fry (Frey or Fret) and their only
child was Henry. After the war they returned to New York where Barney
died. Henry was raised by a relative named Hotaling. Elizabeth returned
to her people in Canada.
