    Notes:

    According to Grace Haynes Roberg Family Record of 20 Feb 1930 his
    name was probobly "Bernard Ains". French Canadian records indicate he
    was a Tory and went to Canada about the time of the Mohawk Valley
    raids. He married in Canada to Elizabeth Fry (Frey or Fret) and their only
    child was Henry. After the war they returned to New York where Barney
    died. Henry was raised by a relative named Hotaling. Elizabeth returned
    to her people in Canada.
