Library of Congress

Had fine company just after New Year's—TC and Jessica came to town to tour DC for the first (or almost first) time. They did quite a bit of touring Thursday, then I took off work Friday to join them. Had an information-packed tour at the Jefferson building of the Library of Congress that went way over schedule, saw the National Building Museum, walked through the zoo just before closing. Here's a few shots. Notice the very fine dome that we, in our architectural ecstasy, built from bricks (and photographed illegally) at the building museum.
